Have you met our Outreach Department? Outreach Services extends the library beyond our walls by bringing books, DVDs and other library materials to those who can't come to the Library in person. For individuals with physical limitations (including temporary limitations such as a recent surgery), Outreach Services will deliver materials to your home once a month. Memory Care packages are available for those experiencing dementia, Alzheimer's, and other memory loss diseases. Outreach can also help with Ohio's Talking Book Program, providing free recorded books, magazines, and playback equipment to visually impaired residents. Delaware resident and your fellow Mature Reader

A magazine recommendation for this book caught my eye: “If you are a fan of Ann Patchett and Celeste Ng, this is a story for you.” I like both those authors. The story spans two decades - from 1991 to 2017 - back and forth. It takes place in Colorado and in New York City. Two families are the primary characters. I am a slow reader and when stories jump around like this, I need to be a more steady reader so I don’t forget the past chapter, but this one held my attention well. The story encompasses love, parent/child relationships, tragedy, guilt and forgiveness. In the author’s acknowledgments, she quoted from Bryon Stevenson’s JUST MERCY: “Each of us is more than the worst thing we’ve ever done.”
