How to Cut a Mat for a Frame
Wednesday, December 4 @ 10:30 am | Delaware Maker Studio
Photos and artwork make great gifts -- even more so when they're already matted and framed! But while there are plenty of photo frames at local stores, not all of them have mats sized for your custom artwork. In this class, our Maker Studio experts will teach you how to size your artwork to a mat, and then how to cut it for a perfect fit for your frame. Maker Studio classes fill up quickly -- register now! Or click here to check out other upcoming Maker Studio tutorials.
Stay warm and cozy with the Delaware County District Libraryâs Winter Reading Club! Just pick up a Winter Reading Club bookmark at any of our locations, or download it here. Fill out the bookmark with any combination of four books youâve read or library programs youâve attended. Once itâs full, bring it back to the Library and tell us which prize basket youâd like to enter to win -- and enter as many times as you'd like.
Support groups create safe, supportive environments and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems. This group is specifically for men caring for someone living with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia. All groups are facilitated by trained indivituals.
Wednesday, December 11 | 10:30 am | Liberty Maker Studio
The Liberty Maker Studio is equipped with a station to convert older analog photo formats into a current digital form. It also is paired with a photo printer, letting you get high quality physical copies of pictures that you may have thought were long gone! In this how to, we'll scan some analog formats and then print out physical copies.
