Thankfulness

Hi friends, it's Percy! I hope you had a happy and fun Halloween. We have another holiday just around the corner: Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving is a good time to gather with family and friends and think of all the things that you are thankful for. Can you think of five things you're thankful for? I'm very thankful for: 1) good books and stories; 2) all the friends I meet and work with at the library; 3) learning new things every day; 4) apple pie (my favorite!); and 5) YOU! Happy Thanksgiving!

Percy's Tip for Grown-Ups: Thankfulness can be a tricky concept for preschoolers, but kids can begin learning about gratitude as early as age 2. Check out these tips for teaching thankfulness from First Things First!
