Delaware County Veterans and Heroes

If you, a relative or someone you know has served in any branch of the armed forces, and has a connection with Delaware County, we would love to hear from you! Delaware County Veterans and Heroes is a project of DCDL which seeks to gather, preserve and make accessible the experiences of all county veterans. Please consider sharing your stories, photos, and records with our historians via our website.

Veterans may also be interested in the Delaware Community Veterans Parade in Delaware on Sunday, November 3 from 3-5 pm. The parade will be preceded by a Veterans social from noon to 2:30 pm in the Jr. Fair Building at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.

Veterans Day Breakfast | Delaware Co. Fairgrounds

Presented by the Delaware County Veterans Association, the 15th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast & Ceremony will commence at 8:30 a.m. with a breakfast followed by a presentation on the Battle of 73 Easting. Breakfast is free for vetrans plus one guest. Reservations are required; please save your place by November 1!

Tax-Aide Volunteers | AARP Foundation

The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program, which provides free tax preparation for senior citizens at SourcePoint and Andrews House, is looking for volunteer tax preparers for next year. Volunteers receive IRS-approved training, work on AARP Foundation-provided equipment, and come from all walks of life.
