Hi, friends, it's Percy! I'm so excited for the solar eclipse this month! A total eclipse hasn’t been seen in Ohio since 1806, and the next won’t occur until 2099, so we're really lucky that we’ll be in the right place at the right time to experience this spectacular event. An eclipse happens when the sun, moon, and earth line up. In this case, the moon will pass between the sun and earth, casting a shadow on the earth that blocks the sun’s light. Check out our website to learn about the eclipse, and don't forget to make a plan to view the eclipse safely with your grownup on April 8!
