This week's tip: Encourage responsibility and independence. Have your child perform regular chores, like setting the table. Teach them how to clean up their own messes, get ready for school, and unpack their own backpacks at the end of the day.
Sing
Rocketship Run: Sing and dance to Rocketship Run with the Laurie Berkner Band: 3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF!
Resolving conflicts and cooperating. Children need to learn to play and cooperate with others in a classroom setting. Practice conflict scenarios with your children so they learn the skills to manage these situations when they arise. A fun way to do this is through play acting or "let's pretend."
💡 Play time tip! Make a fishing game with a stick, yarn, and a magnet. Cut out 12 paper fish & write numbers on them (make sure you have a few 4's!). Place paper clips on the mouths of each fish and lay them on the floor. Let your child "go fishing" to find the fish with the number 4 on them.
We hope you have fun this week! We'll be back next week with the letter S.
