P is for PIG

Join children's librarian Miss Bridget as she helps your young reader learn all about the letter P. Draw along with our fun video!

The letter P is also for...

This week's tip: When playing together, ask questions that start with "I wonder" or "Can you think of how." Demonstrating your own curiosity helps model a love for lifelong learning! For example, ask your child, "I wonder how we can make the car move more slowly."

Watch

Knights of the Pink Table: P is also for PINK! Join Pinkalicious and Peter on their adventures.

Watch it

Play

Pengoloo: P is also for PENGUIN! The penguins are sitting on their eggs -- can you remember which is which?

Parting Ways

Parting ways. Separating from a caregiver before a long day of school can be daunting at times. Help to create a smoother process by creating your own goodbye and hello rituals with your child before leaving for school and when returning home.

Numbers: 2 (two)

One, TWO! Now we know two numbers, and we can count twice as many things! It's a good time to count eyes, ears, shoes, mittens, and other things that come in pairs.

💡 Play time tip! During a meal, ask how many words your child can think of that rhyme with the word two.

We hope you have fun this week! We'll be back next week with the letter Q.
