O is for OWL

The letter O is also for...

This week's tip: Help your child explore all the parts that make up a book. Talk about the cover and the pages. Ask your child if they can find the title, author, and illustrator. What does the author do? What is the illustrator's job?

Sing

The Letter O Song: Sing along with a happy crew of pirates in this ode to the letter O from ABC Mouse!

Sing it

Play

First Orchard: O is also for ORCHARD! Gather all the fruit from the orchard before the raven gobbles it up.

Play it

Don't Judge

Opening food packages. Opening food packages requires fine motor skills and strength. Have your child practice tearing paper, breaking sticks, stretching rubber bands, peeling tape off a table edge and putting velcro together and pulling it apart to strengthen these muscles.

Numbers: 1 (one)

The number 1 is small, but it can count a lot of things! Join the StoryBots for a fun song about the number one.

💡 Play time tip! An uptempo song like this one is a good time to get your wiggles out! Dance, breathe, stretch and move!

We hope you have fun this week! We'll be back next week with the letter P.
