This week's tip: Practice doing things in a set amount of time (such as eating lunch, playing with puzzels, or doing art) to help prepare kids for school schedules when they'll have a defined amount of time for activities before needing to move on.

Sing

Move!: M is also for MOVE! This is a fun song that will help kids move their bodies and get their wiggles out!

Play

Monza: Monza is a car race game for children. Roll the dice, then move your car according to the colors shown on the dice. Monza is a fun way to work on color recognition!

Milk cartons. Milk cartons are a unique type of packaging. Try to find some at the store so you can teach your child how to work with them. If your child will be taking juice boxes or pouches to school, it's a good time for them to practice getting the straw into the box or pounch without squirting it, too!

Shapes: Diamond

A diamond shape is also known as a RHOMBUS. A diamond has four sides and four corners.

💡 Play time tip! Practice drawing a few diamonds on a page. Now, create a picture incorporating the diamonds. Maybe you can make them into kites, or maybe they're a pattern on a snake. Use your imagination!
