This week's tip: Ask your child to solve a problem without using the obvious tools, such as how could they cross a river without a bridge or boat? Creative problem solving is a skill that takes practice.

Old MacDonald Had A Farm: Kids love this classic tune! Add your own funny animals to make it your own.

Click Clack Lumberjack: L is also for Lumberjack! Carefully tap the logs to strip the bark without causing the tree to fall.

Don't Judge

Waiting in line. Standing quietly directly behind their friends can be difficult for children. You can help your child practice this skill by making a line on the ground with masking tape or chalk, then practice finding a place to stand on the line with friends, siblings, or stuffed animals.

Shapes: Triangle

What is a triangle? A triangle is a shape that has three sides, and three corners.

💡 Play time tip! Cut out triangles of different sizes from different colors, patterns, and designs. Notice how triangles can have different lengths of sides, but they're still triangles! Try making a picture using only the triangles you've cut out.

We hope you have fun this week! We'll be back next week with the letter M.
