The letter D is also for...

This week's tip: It's ok to stop reading a book if your child loses interest. Helping them love reading sometimes means stopping if they're not having fun. Work on other skills if today is a day full of wiggles; you can try sitting still for a story later.

Sing

We Are the Dinosaurs: D is also for DINOSAURS! Sing and march along with The Laurie Berkner Band.

Play

Duck Dash: Join PBS Kids' for Duck Dash. Help this cute flock of ducks fly to a safe haven while learning about migration, flying formations, hazards, and more.

Personal Space

Don't touch! It's important for kids to learn how to respect others' space and things -- in other words, how to keep their hands to themselves. Talk about not touching other people's bodies, hair, or belongings. Encourage kids to ask before they "borrow" anything from someone else's desk, too.

The Color GREEN

Green is all around! How many green things do you see outside? Do you see more green things in the summer or in the winter? What is something green that you like to eat?

💡 Play time tip! Grab a green crayon. How many things can you draw that are green?

We hope you have fun this week! We'll be back next week with the letter E.
