Author Visit: Ta-Nehisi Coates

Sunday, February 4 | 3 pm | Upper Arlington High School

Central Ohio Libraries are proud to present a conversation with bestselling author Ta-Nehisi Coates, a National Book Award-winning writer and former national correspondent for “The Atlantic.” Coates will discuss his literary career, including the publication of his books, plus many entries in Marvel’s Black Panther and Captain America comics series. Moderating the conversation will be Sophia Fifner, president and CEO of the Columbus Metropolitan Club. Tickets are going fast. The remaining seats are available for $25 - $35 depending on the seat.

Join Central Ohio Fly Fishers and Destination Delaware County Fishing Trail for an intro to fly tying. We will begin by going over some of the tools, materials, and techniques used in tying some common fly patterns, followed by attendees tying their own flies. Experienced tyers will be on hand to assist attendees as they put their newly learned skills to use in creating their own flies. All materials will be provided. The class is free, but registration is required.
