Custom Flower Pots

Registration opens March 1!

Spring is just around the corner and flowers will soon be blooming. Join us in the Maker Studio to learn how to design and cut a vinyl stencil. You'll turn a regular terra cotta pot into a one-of-a-kind work of art by applying your removable vinyl stencil to the surface to paint. Don't forget, Maker Studio classes fill up quickly, so be sure to register early on Wednesday, March 1!

Bargain Book Sale

March 18 | 9 am - 3 pm
The Friends of the Library (FOL) are hosting a Bargain Book Fair. The book sale will take place in the Delaware Main Library garage, located in the rear of the building. Media sales for DVDs, CDs and more will be inside the Delaware Main Library in the community room. Come early, come often -- great deals await you!

Embroidery Demo

Have you ever wanted to personalize an item with custom embroidery? Now you can! The Maker Studio's embroidery machine offers a variety of designs. During this session, we'll discuss design considerations, show a variety of projects, and answer your questions. Registration for this class opens on March 8!

Delaware County Genealogical Society

March 23 | 10 am

Interested in learning more about your family history? Every Thursday, volunteers from The Delaware County Genealogical Society are on site in our Local History Room at the Delaware Main Library to encourage and support your research. No appointment is necessary; just drop in, and start your search here!

March Focus: Liberty Branch Library

We are so excited to welcome you to your beautiful new Liberty Branch Library! Please mark your calendar now and plan to join us for a ribbon cutting and grand opening on Sunday, March 26, from 1-4 pm. Liberty Branch Library is located at 7468 Steitz Road, Powell. Remarks will begin promptly at 1:00, followed by the ribbon cutting and an open house.

Lifelong Learning Institute at OWU

March 27 |Ohio Wesleyan University | The Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) at OWU is offering 11 courses this spring, with topics ranging from examining the film studios behind the stars, ragtime literature, an armchair history of Delaware County, and an immersive experience with the Central Ohio Symphony. For $75, individuals 55 and older are able to sign up for as many courses as they wish during the spring session. Scholarships are also available; apply by March 8!
