All about Unicorns!
Did you know that April 9 is National Unicorn Day? It is, and Percy is SO exicted to celebrate! In fact, everybody at Delaware County District Library is getting into the unicorn-y spirit, so we're throwing a big Unicorn Party later this month. Be sure to join us at Ostrander Branch Library on Saturday, April 23, and you'll get to meet Percy and some of his friends in person. Read on for more ways to celebrate unicorns this month!

Unicorn Day
The unicorns are celebrating their favorite day of the year, complete with rainbows and sparkly butterflies. When an impostor - a horse with a fake horn - arrives, will the party continue with all its glittery glory?
This unicorn slime recipe is super fluffy and easy to make. Three pretty pastel colors blend into a unicorn slime rainbow. Once you make it, you might not be able to stop playing with it!
Bring your imagination to the Ostrander Library and meet a unicorn or two! Enjoy an afternoon of crafts, games and a visit with a real miniature (unicorn) horse. Our new friend and mascot, Percival, will be there, too!
Why? Because unicorns get up to all kinds of shenanigans on Unicorn Day! For ages 4 and up, this game challenges players to collect toys that you can only "see" with your hands; it's a fun and playful way to develop fine motor skills.
Why? Because after a busy day, Percy loves to relax with yoga! Join a unicorn yogi and two energetic students as they lead children through a ten-pose class, encouraging them to develop their own daily practice.
